How and when to use Distortion Zoom Transitions
Key content from the use case video
The DISTORTION ZOOM Transition is a simple transition that adds a cool distortion effect between any two video clips or images. It is ideally suited in high energy or fast paced video situations such as action sports, fast car chases or futuristic or high technology video projects.
Imagine an action filled sport like motocross or dirt bike riding. You can start off with one action shot of a bike rider going through the circuit. You then apply the distortion zoom to the next action shot as the rider floats through the air giving us a dramatic transition for a dramatic action shot. As with any transition, do not overuse this transition and rather only use it for your very best couple of action shots.
So, in general, apply the distortion zoom between clips or images in a story or video where you want to inject some energy whilst achieving a modern and futuristic look. Other projects that can benefit immensely from the distortion zoom include music videos and action sports.
In packs of AinTransitions products you can find distortion zoom transitions for Premiere Pro, distortion zoom transitions for After Effects, distortion zoom transitions for DaVinci Resolve.
