How to install AinTransitions extension for Premiere Pro manually

AinTransitions extension for Premiere Pro (“com.ainforce.AinTransitionsPPRO.zxp”) can be installed using ZXP Installers or manually. The manual installation method is the fastest if you do not have ZXP Installers installed. The whole installation process will take a couple of minutes. Below you can find step by step guide and video tutorials for each platform.

How to manually install AinTransitions extension for Premiere Pro

  1. Rename the AinTransitions file’s extension, instead of zxp it should be zip.
    Specifically, it should be like this: com.ainforce.AinTransitionsPPRO.zxp –> com.ainforce.AinTransitionsPPRO.zip
  2. Unzip the resulting archive. As a result of unpacking, a folder with the name “com.ainforce.AinTransitionsPPRO” should appear.
  3. Move the resulting folder “com.ainforce.AinTransitionsPPRO” to the destination folder below:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions

    As a result of installing the extension, it will look like this

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.ainforce.AinTransitionsPPRO
  4. Restart Premiere Pro

Mandatory action for Mac users
Before you start using the AinTransitions extension for Premiere Pro, you need to grant rights for Premiere Pro so that it has permission for events. In other words, the system will allow Premiere Pro to use automatic insertion from the clipboard. You can read more about it here.
